An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Band 6 Charge Nurse at Ardleigh Ward, The Lakes, Colchester.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 6, you role will be pivotal in ensuring exemplary care is being provided to the patients and their carers. We have a huge focus on quality improvement so are looking to employ individuals who are motivated to progress changes within the service.
In addition, the role includes but is not limited to the following:
To work independently and accountably as part of a team of clinicians offering 24 hr mental health access and information in the locality of the Trust. The service will be 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 365 days a year working shifts in an in-patient low secure forensic setting.
To act as a role model to other Nurses and HCAs, supervising them to ensure high quality care is provided
Work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary
To deliver a high quality and effective operational service to patients with complex needs, in accordance with the principles and objective of the Trust and its vision as identified in the service.
To complete the required clinical audits, ensure compliance with Trust and local Polices and Procedures
