We have created an exciting new role within the newly developed neuromodulation service for a consultant psychiatrist. This is a 4 session role as the lead for neuromodulation trustwide.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be instrumental in the development of the new neuromodulation services trustwide. They will deliver treatment from Meadowfield Hospital. They will work with operational colleagues to develop sustainable medical cover for services. They will ensure that services are working within national guidelines and to the highest possible standard.

Person Specification Essential and desirably Essential
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months.
- Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983, particularly in relation to ECT administration.
- Able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty
- Able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training
- Demonstrate commitment to shared leadership & collaborative working to deliver improvement.
- Additional clinical qualifications.
- Wide range of specialist and sub-specialist experience relevant to post within NHS or comparable service
- Evidence of achievement in education, research, audit and service improvement: awards, prizes, presentations and publications.
