Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in your physiotherapy career? Would you like to make a positive impact to your patient’s experiences and outcomes?...... If so we have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our Community Therapy Team based in Banbury, North Oxfordshire.

You will join our committed and enthusiastic team of therapists and assistants who are dedicated to providing a responsive service to the needs of our community patients.

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is an accelerator site for the Ageing Well national agenda, as part of the NHS Long Term Plan. This offers you the opportunity to help shape and develop both rapid responsive patient care and helping our patients to rehab in their own homes. You would be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of District nurses, Community Matrons, social services and voluntary organisations for adults with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.

You would be involved with;
  • Working within a community team to support rehab for people in their own home.
  • Support people to remain in their homes when they are having a health or social care crisis, rather than needing to go into hospital or a care home
  • Help people get home from hospital quickly and provide them with rehabilitation and reablement to help restore their health, wellbeing and independence
  • Deliver high-quality core therapy rehabilitation and recovery to people within their own homes

We are looking for a physiotherapist who is motivated to develop their clinical practice and bring new ideas and initiatives.

You will actively supervise staff and be involved in training of physiotherapy students, junior colleagues and be involved in teaching of multidisciplinary staff. We have excellent CPD opportunities available including Masters modules such as frailty management. Working in the community, it is essential for staff to own a car for travel and be able work across extended hours and seven days in order to meet the needs of our patients.

Please do contact us to discuss this exciting position or if any other roles across Oxfordshire community therapy may be of interest to you.
