Are you an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in Eating Disorder Services?
We have a bespoke opportunity in this clinical area - a post which would enable you to develop specialist skills and progress from Band 5 to Band 6 Occupational Therapist.

The Eating Disorders Services within LPFT provide specialist treatments for all with a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and/or Atypical Eating Disorders in the community on an outpatient basis across the county.

Would you like to be at the forefront of exciting new developments within the service? Are you looking for new experiences or considering developing your experience in eating disorders? We are looking for a motivated Occupational Therapist who wants to join a well-established and rapidly expanding service.
The team is a truly multidisciplinary - currently consisting of a Team Co-ordinator / Nurse Specialist; Consultant Psychiatrist; Clinical Psychologist; Nurse Specialists; Dieticians; Community Support Workers; Medical Secretary and Team Secretary.

The service provides the latest in evidence based NICE psychological interventions to adults with an eating disorder. The team’s multi-disciplinary approach to the assessment and treatment of individuals is a real strength. The Occupational Therapists contribution would be much valued.

The Trust is a great place to work as an Occupational Therapist. You will have access to clinical and professional supervision on a both 1: 1 and group basis. Mentoring / coaching is also available from the Associate Director of Allied Health Professions or Consultant Occupational Therapist. We also offer a range of CPD opportunities to enable you to further develop your skills in relation to your role and profession.

We offer a comprehensive induction programme, and a good network of Allied Health Professionals working across the Trust and county. We are open to discussing flexible working patterns which enable you to have a positive work / life balance.
