Single Point of Access team are looking to recruit 2 x Telecoaches to provide basic coping skills for people presenting in mental health crisis the successful candidate will be working via telephone, and be experts in validating, de -escalating crisis and coaching people in distress tolerance and basic emotional regulation strategies. You will be required to use a range of evidence-based de-escalation skills. The Telecoach will encompasses the delivery of psychological interventions in Single Point of Access under the supervision of a Clinical Advisor. The post holder will work as a member of SPA, liaising with our First Response Team regarding adults of all ages with mental health needs.

The core functions are to undertake information gathering and be the initial point of contact of someone’s reported crisis The role will require skills in effective information gathering, planning, and delivering recovery oriented and evidence-based interventions to support individuals in crisis, through basic coping skills
