An exciting opportunity has arisen to design, develop and deliver a package of recovery based recovery based mental health training alongside HCPA, to Nursing, Residential and supported living homes across Hertfordshire.
The post holder will be expected to work 3 days per week designing and delivering training at Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) in their high spec campus at Mundells, Welwyn Garden City
Experience in training is desirable but not essential, as the post holder will have an exciting opportunity to undertake a period of 3 month Continued Professional Development and registration on a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET). This will be a unique opportunity to support the applicant to develop core training delivery skills so as to enable them to design and deliver the required quality training programme to embed the principles of recovery based mental health, ensuring the principles of connected lives are embedded throughout. During this 3 months; HCPA would support the applicant to undertake this award and consider other appropriate additional opportunities in order to support to build the course programme delivery.
The successful applicant will hold a relevant Professional qualification and be registered with its associated governing body e.g., all social workers must be registered with the Social Work England and nurses with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). The applicant will have experience in working in a mental health setting; with a strong knowledge base and expertise they are keen to share with private, voluntary and independent providers.
