CAMHS Eating Disorders

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Pay scale: AFC Band 6
The CAMHS Eating Disorder team was developed in 2016. The aim of the service was to deliver a specialist community eating disorders service to children and young people aged 8 – 18 years across South Staffordshire. Six years on, it is an exciting time to join the team due to the opportunity to be part of developing future pathways in a growing service. The team have recently secured additional investment to further expand the current service provision, as well as develop a new service provision in relation to Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder – ARFID
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dietitian to support the delivery & development of dietetics within the team. The role will be an integral valued member of the multidisciplinary team, providing specialist dietetic advice and support to children, young people, their families & professionals, in both assessments and treatment pathways. A key part of the role will be to offer intensive support to children, young people & their families within the community environment i.e home visits, support at school. The role will also encompass education and training to various members of the community such as family members in parent psychoeducation groups, nursing staff and CAMHS workers.
You will need to have a highly flexible approach and be willing to travel across the locality. The team is based in Stafford with services provided across a range of other localities.
