  • Are you someone looking for a career in one of the UK's most respected mental health and learning disability trusts?

An opportunity has arisen in our Southern Locality to manage our Rehabilitation and Recovery services.

In this locality the services being developed will include an Intensive Community Rehabilitation Team and an in-patient service and will be based in Newton Abbot.

The post-holder will lead the new Rehabilitation and Recovery team and be instrumental in the development of the inpatient service. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking leader to be at the forefront of a new and ambitious service.

In this role you will be working with a talented and dedicated nursing and multi-disciplinary team, who are passionate about delivering high quality rehabilitation and recovery care and support. As part of this role you will be responsible for the operational management of the in-patient and the community rehabilitation team in the locality. We are committed to delivering high quality support for our teams, focussed on compassionate, accessible and visible management, supervision and appraisal.

You will also play a central role in leading service development opportunities in the locality. Our aim is to become an exemplary rehabilitation service, delivering nationally recognised services in mental health recovery for individuals with significant mental health needs due to psychosis. This role is critical to the success of this ambitious project.

Devon Partnership is investing in rehabilitation services across the Trust, with significant recent investment in the Russell Clinic in Exeter, the opening of a new rehabilitation in-patient service in North Devon, and the establishment of three locality based intensive rehabilitation teams, including South Devon and Torbay. Our rehabilitation and recovery services are developing in line with the Trust’s plans for implementing the Community Mental Health Framework.
