An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking leader and professionally registered clinician with significant management experience at Band 7 or above to job share the Clinical Services Manager role within the Central Locality of the Adult Directorate.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Band 7 to step up and gain experience at Band 8A across a diverse range of services,

Reporting to the Central Locality Manager - this will be a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity initially for 3 months (potential to be extended) at Band 8A for 2 days per week (0.4 WTE). You will work with the other post holder to line manage a range of Band 7 staff as well as holding the senior operational responsibility for a portfolio of services which includes:-
  • Russell Clinic – inpatient rehabilitation ward
  • Eastern Community Rehabilitation Team
  • Exeter Clozaril Clinic
  • Vocational Services (Workways, New Leaf, Devon Recovery Learning Community)

The role is open to any profession (RMN, OT, Social Worker or Psychologist). Exact responsibilities will depend on the skill mix between the existing post holder (an OT who works 0.6 WTE in this role) and the profession and experience of the successful candidate.

Devon Partnership is investing in rehabilitation services across the Trust, with significant recent investment in the Russell Clinic in Exeter, the opening of a new rehabilitation in-patient service in North Devon, and the establishment of three locality based intensive rehabilitation teams, including South Devon and Torbay. Our rehabilitation and recovery services are developing in line with the Trust’s plans for implementing the Community Mental Health Framework.
