Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to carry out individual and group interventions on a rotational basis across two adult acute in-patient wards (arrangements to be discussed at interview or speak to Craig Kingsley prior to interview). Your responsibilities will include carrying a clinical caseload, conducting OT assessments and reports based on the Model of Human Occupation. The post holder will need to communicate effectively and flexibly in order to work effectively within both multi-disciplinary teams. You will receive regular supervision and support from a Band 6 Occupational Therapist and you will have CPD and training opportunities for your professional development. You will also be responsible for delegating to and supervising OT support staff. We are a supportive and expanding team, committed to delivering a quality in-patient service.
