Are you passionate about Physiotherapy and progressing people to their maximum potential in their own homes? Do you have the commitment and desire to make a difference to people’s lives? If so, a post in the Mid Hampshire IIC Therapy Team may be for you!

Our Community therapists work in patients’ homes, linking closely with the GP practices in the Winchester Area, covering week days only at present. Our community teams are based in Winchester City, Colden Common and Andover. This post will cover Winchester and the surrounding rural areas, providing rehabilitation for both integrated intermediate care and long term conditions.

We are a busy, friendly, cohesive team, who would welcome the opportunity to work with a new member of staff willing to contribute to the on-going development of the services we provide. The team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and rehab assistants, with the wider team consisting of nurses, rehabilitation and health care support workers, using an inter-professional model of working. Our teams work closely with colleagues in Hampshire County Council and Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust to provide the best care and outcomes for our population.

Experience in front line NHS community patient care is desirable as is evidence of up to date clinical professional development. We would support a return to practice physiotherapist if suitable for the post. Applicants need to be keen to develop and apply their clinical skills, have well developed communication, organisational and prioritisation skills and be able to work under pressure. The role is demanding but rewarding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual who can work flexibly and efficiently. It is essential you have access to a car for work purposes and hold a current driver’s license.

If you are excited at the prospect of working in this challenging yet highly rewarding area of healthcare then we look forward to hearing from you. There may be the opportunity to develop this position in a rotation with the Urgent Community Response team if this is something that interests you.
