We have an exciting opportunity to join our Child & Family service line as a Clinical Education Lead. The post will work alongside the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team to design and deliver a sustainable training programme for both national and international clinical staff joining our service.

The aim of services under the CAMHS portfolio is to provide the right intervention, at the right time to support the development of positive mental health from the point of early intervention through our Mental Health in Schools Team through to Crisis Intervention via our Liaison teams.

The post holder will be part of the CAMHS multi-disciplinary team delivering specialist mental health support for children and young people and their parents/carers. They will be a core part of the CAMHS Academy supporting colleagues new to CAMHS to develop into Specialist CAMHS Practitioners.

The Clinical Education Lead will be crucial to support the development of the CAMHS Academy. This role would help expand and enhance knowledge to deliver the Academy, introducing and sharing best practice of innovative models of delivering coaching and support.

The person we are looking for will have a strong clinical background with recent clinical experience, excellent communication skills, ability to engage and influence at all levels, demonstrate passion for education and act as a professional role model. The role will require project management skills and will require engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract and secondments are welcome.
