We are seeking an enthusiastic occupational therapist to become part of our award-winning service.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in and contribute to the effectiveness of the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIIP).
EIIP has good outcomes for its clients and staff find it a very rewarding job based on positive outcomes and working closely with clients and their families.
The post is part of further investment into our service to help us grow as a team and meet the new access wait standards for Early Intervention in Psychosis and the post is ring-fenced for development into a band 6 post.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, dynamic person. You will be a team player who is creative and innovative in your approach, along with a range of experience to join our multi-disciplinary team.
You must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
There will be opportunities to develop your skills in Bio-Psychosocial Interventions as well as further PDP opportunities.
As a Care Coordinator you will use your professional and personal skills to help people identify and come to terms with their first episode of psychosis and support them on their path to recovery within the CPA model. (you will be supported in this aspect of the role initially as part of your development)
The team is based at Horizon Hub in Epsom, with a satellite base in Redhill. You will be an allocated a geographical patch to work within thus the posts would not only suit Surrey based occupational therapists but also those in surrounding areas

- Individualised preceptorship, completed at your place of work

- Group process
- Bimonthly Occupational Therapy Forums on topics such as:
- Occupational therapy and hoarding
- Leadership and influence skills
- Importance of physical health for people with mental health and learning disabilities
- Sustainability
- Research
- Occupational therapy and digital
- Occupational therapy care groups in each division (Working Age, Learning Disability and Older Adults).
- Annual Allied Health Professional conference
