This is a new Consultant post that has been developed to lead a newly developed NCL Wide Camhs Home Treatment Team. The role will be based in Barnet and will work across the NCL (Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Camden and Islington).
It is anticipated that the post holder will lead on the development of the new NCL CAMHS Home Treatment Team and in the development of the clinical model.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will also provide support to clinical colleagues in deciding the most appropriate intervention for patients referred to the service. This will include providing direct interventions in the patient's own home or community setting, liaising with the wards to facilitate early discharge from inpatient units in the NCL as well as collaborative working with other CAMHS services, community services, social care, private providers and the voluntary sector to provide a seamless pathway for children and adolescents.
On-call responsibilities will consist of participating in the Tri Borough (Barnet, Enfield and Haringey) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Consultant evening and weekend duty rota. This is currently a one in 14 rota (subject to change, 2 first on each month).
