A full time staff nurse position has arisen at our thriving specialist adult eating disorder inpatient service. Our team is committed to delivering safe and innovative care. We have a reputation for excellence, providing a stepped model of treatment tailored to individual patient needs working within the recovery framework.
We are a multidisciplinary team with a dispersed leadership model ensuring that nursing is at the core of patient care. We offer a comprehensive supervision and preceptorship programme for trained nurses. There are opportunities to learn CBTe and DBT based skills, ensuring that nursing professional development is at the forefront of evidence based practice.
We are highly supportive of the new NMC revalidation process and are actively facilitating in- house training sessions to ensure all of the objectives can be met.
We strongly value our nursing colleagues and recognise that our team is our greatest asset. The right candidate, with our support, will contribute towards our ethos of delivering outstanding care. We are looking for candidates with a positive and passionate attitude towards the recovery of their patients and the needs of their families.
Patients with eating disorders present a number of challenges; other mental and physical health problems and the effects of severe malnutrition require a complex care plan and specialist input. It isn’t all about eating! You will have the opportunity to work closely with other professions – psychiatry, psychology, dietetics, occupational therapy, general practice – and with our carers.
We are keen to recruit RMNs, RGNs, Learning Disabilities Nurses and nurses returning to practice.
