An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead has arisen to join the Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire, Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team due to new monies following transformational change.
Your main base will be at Chesterfield.
The Chesterfield Crisis Team is a large team consisting of Consultant Psychiatrists, Service Manager, Clinical lead, NMP, Lead Nurses, Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Support Workers and Administration staff.
The post holder will also work closely with Neighbourhood Teams based in Derbyshire.
This well-established, multi-disciplinary team offers a high quality assessment and home treatment service as an alternative to hospital admission, to individuals experiencing acute mental health crisis.
Main duties of the job
With this investment, we have expanded our teams and we are working to enhance our home treatment services in line with the Fidelity model for Crisis services. The role of Clinical Lead will be significant in the developments of the service.
As a service we are looking for an individual who shows compassion and genuine warmth, an individual who is engaging and focussed on client / customer satisfaction. You will be a good communicator, able to keep our commitments, demonstrate respect and dignity.
You will be working with the Service Manager for the team who will be your line manager, as well as working with the Band 7 Clinical Leads across the service line. You will clinically lead the service as part of the MDT and will participate in monitoring and auditing of the service and its developments
You will also work with colleagues across the Assessment Services, including crisis services in South Derbyshire, Liaison Teams based in the Emergency Departments, and the Mental Health Helpline and Support Service. You will ensure the provision of an effective service to meet legislative, policy and contractual requirements within both the Trust and the Crisis services.
