Main duties of the job
As a CAMHS Nurse /Practitioner you will be responsible for providing full assessments, formulation andevidence based interventions to children, young people and their families, who are experiencing mentalhealth difficulties.You will be responsible for maintaining an individual caseload, from referral to discharge, conductingroutine and high priority assessments and interventions as appropriate and exercising autonomy.You will be liaising and providing advice, information and consultation to colleagues and other agencies aswell as undertaking service governance activity, including research and audit as appropriate.The role includes participating in the on call rota which includes some weekends and bank holidays

Person Specification Education and Training Essential
- Current professional registration - NMC, HCPC, AHP, SW
- Professional qualification - RN (Mental Health) / OT / Social Worker / Psychologist
- Child & Adolescent Mental Health Qualification or evidence based intervention
- Evidence of continuous professional updating
- Experience of working in an MDT or Multi Agency Setting
- Appropriate experience of working within a Mental Health Setting
- Experience in providing training in a range of settings
- Appropriate Knowledge of Child and Adolescent Mental Health
- A workinng knowledge of Safeguarding Children Procedures
- Ability to work within a team, and autonomously
