An exciting opportunity to work as the AEDS (Adult Eating Disorders Service) Specialist Senior Nurse or Senior Mental Health (MH) Practitioner has arisen. Applicants must be a qualified nurse and/or registered clinician / practitioner, and ideally have post-qualification training and experience, in the delivery of NICE concordant psychological therapies for adults with eating disorders or associated mental health conditions.The successful candidate will be expected to provide evidence-based Eating Disorders treatment and therapy, working in collaboration with people who use our services to support their recovery.

You'll be joining our thriving, happy and well established multi-disciplinary team (MDT), co- located in Guildford and Epsom sites.Your role will be to provide clinical and line management supervision for the nursing staff MH practitioners, as well as proactively work alongside the AEDS MDT, to coordinate, plan care, manage a caseload and facilitate individual Eating Disorders treatment and therapy where clinically indicated, following comprehensive assessment.

This is an exciting time to be part of a developing, although well established team, with a number of service transformation projects in progress. The successful candidate will be expected to be part of the AEDS management steering group, to develop and lead on Eating Disorder related service delivery initiatives. You will receive regular clinical and managerial supervision, and have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills through specialist Eating Disorders therapies/ treatment training.
