Would you like to work where every moment matters?
Every day 6000 Southern Health colleagues come to work with one thing in common: Pride in what we do, knowing every moment matters here. We invite you to become part of the Southern Health family so that together we can continue to create the highest quality care for our patients.
Cherry Ward is a female-only ward for patients with acute mental health needs. The ward which has been open since the summer of 2021, was designed in conjunction with over 100 patients to develop an environment that is supportive for the patients who use the service. The ward provides areas for patients, carers and staff and has a sensory room, art room and therapeutic corner for our service users.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and passionate Mental Health Nurse who shares the trusts vision to help individuals recover to a life beyond mental health. With a patient centred approach, we believe great nurses don’t just treat illness, they change lives, aiming to provide high quality integrated care and to work collaboratively with the service users to support their recovery and individual needs.
This is an opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team to make a difference in the lives of others. Whilst working on the unit you will use your skills to be an influential member of the ward team dedicated to multidisciplinary team working. You will contribute to the provision of high quality care and formulate appropriate risk assessments and care plans within a Recovery orientated care delivery model. We also welcome applications from professionals wishing to embrace a new and exciting challenge, yet rewarding role.
In everything we do, we seek to demonstrate our values:Patients & People first, Partnership, & Respect. We are looking for someone who demonstrates and embeds behaviours consistent with our Southern Health values as well as the above skills and experience.
