We welcome applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy to join this exciting programme and the innovative and creative community of academics and students that make up the Faculty of Applied Social and Organisational Sciences at Metanoia Institute.  This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) training and join the well-established programmes in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute.

The successful applicant will be able to operate effectively as part of a team of academic and administrative colleagues to facilitate learning to the highest quality through teaching, administration and academic support.

They will have expertise and experience in working therapeutically with adults and the ability to offer excellent teaching and pedagogy to support the development of therapeutic knowledge and skills. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about education, able to initiate and develop ideas and opportunities in teaching and learning and with the ability to provide clinical supervision and support to trainees' work at placement. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver teaching excellence and a track record or a rising trajectory of professional practice. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise and experience of applying PCE-CfD in the NHS and IAPT services.
