CCETT is a unique and developing service that has a focus on supporting young people and families in crisis and avoid hospital admission if possible. They are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Occupational Therapist with a ‘can do’ attitude who likes to work in a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
The team is a truly multidisciplinary, consisting of a Team Coordinator, Clinical Lead, Psychiatrist, Nurses, Social Workers, Community Support Workers, Family Therapist, Physical Healthcare Nurse, Senior OT and Team Secretary The team work closely with colleagues in other LPFT CYP services and wider CYP agencies and the post holder will provide occupationally focused professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the CCETT team as part of the CCETT MDT.
The post holder will carry out Occupational Therapy assessment, deliver high quality interventions, support the delivery of individual care packages, group work and work within the Care Programme Approach processes, to support children and young people with complex mental health difficulties. The post holder will work alongside a Band 6 Occupational Therapist who provide supervision and support professional development. The post holder will have a full and comprehensive induction.
The Trust is a great place to work as an Occupational Therapist. You will have access to clinical and professional supervision on a both 1: 1 and group basis. Mentoring / coaching is also available from the Associate Director of Allied Health Professions or Consultant Occupational Therapist and we offer a range of CPD opportunities to enable you to further develop your skills in relation to your role and profession with a good network of Allied Health Professionals working across the Trust and county.
Core working hours for the post are Monday - Friday 9.00am and 17.00pm, with some flexibility for working evenings, weekends and bank holidays, depending on need.
