An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to work in a dedicated multi-professional team providing acute care to patients in their own homes.
This role involves working as an Autonomous Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist within Poole Intermediate Care Service providing treatment to patients with acute illness to prevent unnecessary admission to hospital and facilitate complex discharges from hospitals. Clinical expertise and good communication skills are required, as well as excellent time management and prioritisation skills to provide care to this group of patients living within their own home.
The vacancy is part time (22.5 hours per week). However, we would consider increasing these hours to full time if we have a suitable candidate.
The role will include some shift working as the service operates 365 days a year 08.00 - 20.00. We provide care to our patients in their own homes, it is therefore essential that you have access to a car.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Part time and full time hours available to be discussed at Interview.
Interviews for this post are to be held on Wednesday 6th July 2022.
