This is an exciting opportunity for qualified Children's Well-being Practitioners (CWP) or Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) to join a developing school-based Early Intervention Service in Surrey. There are various EMHP and CWP posts available across the boroughs of Surrey (i.e. Spelthorne, Runnymede, Elmbridge, Guildford, Waverley, Epsom and Reigate and Banstead).

Surrey's new Alliance is working to embed the THRIVE framework. The THRIVE Framework thinks about the emotional health and well-being needs of children, young people and families through five different needs-based groupings: Getting Advice and Signposting, Getting Help, Getting More Help, and Getting Risk Support. Emphasis is placed on the prevention and promotion of mental health and well-being across the whole population and the post holder will be expected to work within the ITHRIVE framework with schools, CYP and their families to ensure that they receive the right support at the right time.

The Schools Based need service is currently undergoing an exciting and innovative transformation. We are working closely with schools and partners in the third sector to develop the THRIVE model and provide enhanced support to schools in Surrey.

Access to a car desirable as travel between schools is essential.
