We are offering £2,500 Golden Hello Payment to external candidates from outside of Hampshire and Isle of Wight or an exciting opportunity to be supported to complete further study which may include the prescribing pathway.

Due to the exciting transformation of the In-Reach into Care Homes Service we are currently seeking highly skilled, motivated, passionate practitioners with a desire to provide high quality, timely care.

You may already be a B6 or looking for your next step. We are keen to hear from nurses, occupational therapists or any other professionally registered clinician with a desire to work with individuals living in care homes who present with complexity due to their mental health condition.

We are recruiting across North and Mid Hants. If you have a desire to be to part of service re-design and expansion, then we are looking for you. Working in partnership with care homes to provide a behavioural approach to caring for people with distressed behaviour, often due to dementia but you may also care for people with other mental health difficulties, the In-Reach team is keen to support your personal development and welcome you to our innovative service.

Our Trust vision is to deliver world class treatment and care, together with our service users, their families and our partners in health and care. We have established an ambitious programme of transformation to support the improvements we need to make and create a need based, holistic approach to physical and mental wellbeing, treatment and recovery for our patients and resilience support for carers and families.

We believe our staff are our most valuable asset; and excellent, well trained and motivated staff will help us deliver this transformation, creating a culture of compassion, collaboration and continuous improvement.

We have our own unique, internal Academy of Excellence supporting registered staff to gain support throughout their careers to realise their aspirations as well as links to local universities to support further education and development. We support staff in clinical practice in many ways, and this includes having a team of Practice Educators to support and guide staff as they work alongside them.

We are also increasingly looking to enable staff to move seamlessly into roles that best meet their needs at that time, both within the service and across the division as well as within the local healthcare system.

We are one of only a few NHS Trusts in the country to offer fully funded leadership and management qualifications to staff.

Informal discussions/visits welcomed; please contact: Sheila Gascoigne 07775600519 or Sheila.gascoigne@southernhealth.nhs.uk or debra.wells@southernhealth.nhs.uk
