JOB TITLE: CBT Therapist
DEPARTMENT: Louth Steps2Change Team (IAPT Service)
LOCATION/BASE ADDRESS: Windsor House, Windsor Road, Louth, LN11 0LF
BAND AND SALARY; Band 7 £40,057
NUMBER OF HOURS: 22.5 per week, working mainly 9am-5pm but expectation of working 12-8pm at least one day per week.
A vacancy has arisen for a Qualified CBT therapist within the Lincolnshire steps2change (Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust) Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service. Steps2change provides an evidence based stepped care model for the treatment of people with mild to moderate common mental health problems e.g. anxiety and depression. The successful applicant will be based at the Louth steps2change team and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide support for people in the self-management of their common mental health problems through NICE recommended treatment protocols.
All applicants will need to have gained a PG Diploma in CBT as an essential requirement, as well as a professional qualification (nurse/occupational therapist/social worker/clinical psychologist or psychological therapy).
Regular management and clinical supervision will be provided by qualified supervisors. The service has a strong commitment towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD), staff wellbeing and providing quality services.
