An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with experience of, and a keen interest in mental health, to work within Guildford Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS). We welcome applicants who are newly-qualified, as well as those with post-qualification experience. Any job offer will be dependent on HCPC registration.
Working in this field offers a wealth of opportunities for Psychologists to utilise a diverse range of professional skills, which includes completing comprehensive assessments and formulations, therapy interventions, consultation and training to non-psychology colleagues, and contribution to service development initiatives. We are keen to recruit clinicians who wish to develop a well-rounded set of clinical skills but are also supportive in nurturing people’s special interests. There will also be opportunity to provide supervision to both assistant and trainee clinical psychologists. You will also attend multidisciplinary meetings with to provide input on case management and service delivery.
The post holder will be professionally supervised by an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist and you will be well supported within the psychology departments, where Continuing Professional Development and staff support are highly valued. There will also be opportunities for you to meet regularly with other Psychologists across the Trust for CPD events and service development/transformation projects.
