The post holder will lead manage and develop a responsive operational support service working closely with the Service Manager and Business Manager to ensure an effective and efficient management of resource to achieve national and local quality and performance targets within budget.
The post holder will be responsible for day to day management and accountability of capacity and demand, ensuring all clinic slots are utilised to meet the requirements of the service.
The post holder will work closely with the Service Manager/Business Manager/Team Leader and will have delegated responsibilities for a range of operational activities ensuring data quality and pathway validation. They will provide expertise and guidance for Team Leaders and clinical administration teams in the proactive management of patient pathways.
The post holder will manage and monitor e-roster systems to ensure that all teams are appropriately staffed.
The post holder will work closely with the Service Manager/Business Manager and will provide expertise in clinical systems, ensuring provision across all pathways.
The post holder will also undertake key roles on specific projects as delegated by the Business Manager/Service Manager.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage, lead and develop a co-ordinated and responsive administration service, ensuring effective and efficient management of resources to achieve quality and performance targets.
The post holder will be responsible for day to day management and accountability of capacity and demand, ensuring all clinic slots are utilised to meet the requirements of the service.
The post holder is answerable and accountable to the Service Manager and Business Manager for the day to day provision of rota management and also has leadership accountability of the administrative teams.
The post holder will be responsible for providing management teams with relevant data and audit reports showing gaps within service delivery across multiple departments.
The post holder will manage and monitor e-roster systems to ensure that all teams are appropriately staffed. Duties will include staff rostering, annual appraisals, annual leave and sickness management and monitoring, ensuring application and adherence to Trust HR policies and procedures.
The post holder will work closely with the Service Manager and will provide expertise in clinical systems, ensuring provision across all pathways.
The post holder will support the development of a standardised and consistent service delivery model across the Division. This will require formation of relationships with peers across a range of Divisions within the Trust.

- Experience and knowledge of a range of administrative and organisational policies and management information systems
- Experience of data quality management and awareness of 'Right First Time'
