With the current post holder securing a promotion, we now have a fantastic development opportunity to take up the post of Human Resources Employee Relations Manager, working with both HRBP's and Divisional Management teams in modeling outstanding and forward thinking HR practice promoting a positive culture of inclusion in a high performing Trust

As a small HR team within the People Directorate we are at the forefront of delivering the Trust's ambitious future plans and this role is key to its success - are you ready to make that move?

Main duties of the job

You will need to be able to work at both a strategic and operational level in collaboration with Resourcing, Workforce Information, Learning and Development and OD teams to provide a unified, high quality service that helps drive forward the implementation of the NHS People Plan and delivery of our internal People Strategy.

You will be a key member of the wider People and Workforce team and have responsibility for delivering a high level, safe and effective comprehensive Employee Relations Service.

You will need to be CIPD qualified with demonstrable generalist HR management experience with a focus on employee relations and able to evidence a track record of success. You need to be a hard working self-starter who can hit the ground running, in return you will be afforded opportunities and exposure to truly build your expertise for future roles.

About us

You will lead on the development and implementation of HR Policies as such project management experience and working with our staff side is essential as is developing and utilising HR Information Systems and providing ER reports in order to meet business needs.

A need to have a full awareness of changes occurring within Employment legislation and NHS Employers is also critical as you will oversee complex Employee Relations and Organisational Change initiatives including TUPE.

This is an autonomous role but you will work closely with the HR Business Partners and the wider People and Workforce teams as well as managing a small ER Advisory support officer to deliver Employee Relations agenda in an ever evolving and changing environment.

Due to the impact on the pandemic, this role will be based at home with the future plans being to continue with flexible working ensuring a balance of home and office working.
