Cygnet Brunel:

Cygnet Brunel in Bristol offers an extensive Neuropsychiatric treatment, care and rehabilitation pathway which is unique in its ability to provide a dedicated pathway to meet the complex needs of service users within their care.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Youll be working 40 hours a week, part time hours can be considered for the right applicant
  • Assess people referred for therapy as part of a multidisciplinary needs assessment
  • Plan & deliver therapy interventions and determine their effectiveness
  • Provide a variety of work, including individual & group therapy
  • Monitor, evaluate & adapt ongoing clinical work according to each individuals needs
  • Attend clinical meetings and communicate with colleagues, external agencies & families/carers
  • Comply with the codes of practice of theBritish Association for Music Therapists& the HCPC
  • Maintain & store equipment in a safe condition and attend to risk issues concerning its use

We are looking for someone who is...
  • Qualified in Art / Music / Drama / Counselling Therapy Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/Masters or equivalent
  • Registered with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council)
  • Experienced within a Neuro environment, or with a passion for working in this type of setting
  • Understanding of mental health diagnosis
  • Preferably experienced in working within a multidisciplinary team & within an evidence based framework
