Do you have the Passion, Drive and Ability to deliver high quality compassionate care?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader/ Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join The Urgent Care and Access Pathway. The post is open to experienced Practitioners from a variety of disciplines including Nursing, Social work, and Occupational therapy.
There are opportunities in the Urgent Care Pathway:
Mental Health Liaison Service
MHLS are based at the LRI providing triage and assessment on UHL wards and within the Emergency Department for patients experiencing a mental health crisis. This service will operate 365 days a year over a 24-hour rotation. This is an exciting time to join our Liaison Service in a leadership role- we have embedded a Core 24 model and have ambitious plans for the future.
Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment
The service is for adults aged 18 and over who, without this service, would require hospital admission to an acute mental health ward, due to mental health crisis which impacts on the person’s ability to cope with day-to-day activities. This service will operate 365 days a year over a 24-hour rotation.
For our team lead posts in Urgent Care, you will need to be a motivated and dynamic leader who can inspire and motivate your team to provide high quality clinical care. The successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work independently, also demonstrate flexibility in the way they work and able to take on different roles within the pathway, ensuring a clear leadership vision is maintained. These roles are an excellent mix of clinical expertise and operational management with a mix of management days and clinical shifts.
