Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner
22.5 hours per week
We are delighted to inform you about the fantastic and exciting opportunities that have arisen for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join the Melton, Rutland, and Market Harborough Community Mental Health team within Mental Health Services for Older People. We are offering a permanent part time post of 22.5 hours a week.
We are looking for experienced professionals who are innovative and passionate about mental health. We welcome applications from Registered Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists with experience of supporting people with complex mental health needs and their carers within community settings.
We provide holistic and person-centred mental health services for people over 65 with functional and organic conditions and for people under 65 with cognitive impairment.
The CMHTs are well-established multi-disciplinary teams, consisting of Consultant Psychiatrists, Nurses and Health Care Support Workers, Occupational Therapists and Psychologists. The teams provide face to face assessments and care for service users referred via the Central Access Point, In-patients and Crisis Teams.
