The service is growing and extending to cover East Surrey, we want to welcome onboard mental health practitioners that have a passion for perinatal mental health care, that are willing to learn and grow with the team and do their very best to make a difference. We are looking to recruit to a number of posts in the following:

East Team (Based in Epsom)

South West Team (Base in Godalming)

North West Team (Based in Chertsey)

Mental health nurse, occupational therapist or social worker- Band 6 or band 5 development post. Working hours can be flexible to accommodate the right person.

As a member of the team, you would provide specialist assessments and interventions to women during the perinatal period up to 24 months postnatal. Each team works closely with the mental health midwives and obstetricians from the local maternity unit.

East Team covers Epsom General hospital and East Surrey Hospital.

South West Team covers Royal Surrey hospital and Frimley Park Hospital.

North West Team covers St Peters Hospital.

You will hold a caseload of women for a specified locality in your respective team and participate in triaging new referrals on a rotational basis supported by experienced team members.

The ability to work across Surrey is essential and a car is required.
