We are seeking experienced and dynamic Pharmacist leaders to join our friendly and supportive Pharmacy Team as an advanced clinical pharmacist.
Initially supported through a 4-week structured induction process, you will then provide dynamic leadership and demonstrate high quality acute clinical pharmacy skills. Working flexibility to support the Trust's directive of 7 day working and participating in rotas and/or shift working as necessary, including weekend and bank holidays.
You will be ward-based, and deliver your activity Trust wide, working over 2 major acute sites, with a view to expanding services into our Goole site with Neuro Rehab facilities.
Health and Care Worker Visa's and Relocation Packages available (where eligible) and On-Boarding team support. Affordable housing, outstanding schools, good transport links and all in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Main duties of the job
The post holder would be responsible for providing an advanced clinical pharmacist service within their agreed directorate, support with education and training and improve patient safety. These role requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, alongside sound clinical knowledge and relevant experience. We are a successful, innovative and forward-thinking department, with patient care at the center of our decision-making.

We actively using skill mix and role development to enhance job content and quality at all levels of the department. The department is supported by a robust management team, Pharmacy technician and pharmacy support worker structure that enables our Advanced clinical Pharmacists to be actively involved in and focus on clinical and professional aspects of patient care. You will be responsible for managing and supervising the duties of pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists and ward support technicians within the clinical team. You will be responsible for supporting the medicines information services and training pharmacy staff to deliver these services. You will support the Clinical Pharmacy Team Manager in the delivery of the Pharmacy Vision and Values Strategy, together with the other Clinical Pharmacy Team Leaders.

Essential
- A vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy plus pre-registration training resulting in registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist
- Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience
Desirable
- Accredited pre-registration pharmacy student tutor and / or accredited clinical pharmacy diploma tutor
- Independent Prescribing qualification
- MFRPSI

- Previous hospital Pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist (minimum of four years post qualification including a minimum of 12 months post qualification experience in relevant specialist area)
