Our friendly Early Intervention for Psychosis Service in Arndale House, Dartford are seeking a CBT Psychotherapist/ Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, apply now and kickstart your career in the NHS.

The Early Intervention for Psychosis Service is a well-respected and well-established multi-disciplinary service with a reputation for excellence. The EIP psychological therapies staff are integrated within EIPS and committed to providing support, excellent supervision and to developing its staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for a CBT therapist or Psychologist to join the North Kent (Dartford & Medway) team as it continues to expand and offer innovative interventions.

Main duties of the job

You would be responsible for offering high quality CBT and family interventions across the Kent & Medway EIP team. Case consultation and joint working with staff in the multi-disciplinary team will also be an expectation. You will have plenty of scope and support to develop your own practice, whilst providing a highly professional service to people with psychosis and to their families.

To undertake high quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory and evaluative) specialist CBTp/psychological and family interventions in EIPTo work as part of the multi-disciplinary team supporting care planning & risk management.To support trainee placements and offer supervision where appropriate.

  • Postgraduate Qualification in CBTp/ Psychology
  • BABCP registration/HCPC

  • Experience in EIP/AMH/Severe MH problems
  • Experience in CBT/CBTp
  • Experience in MDT working
  • Experience in groupwork/familywork
  • Written communication
  • Knowledge of recovery, social inclusion and EIP policies
