We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Nursing teams based at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion
Opportunities are available in the following areas: -
Emergency and Urgent Care Centre - Treats adults and children, within the Accident and Emergency area, Clinical Decisions Unit area for assessment of adult patients and Minors Injury Unit that treats both adults and children
Dyfi Ward - specialising in Respiratory patients with 2 HDU beds for non-invasive ventilation and general medical patients. Cardiac care - with 5 beds for Acute cardiac patients and further monitoring beds
Ystwyth Ward - Stroke and frailty ward with 4 bed Hyper Acute Stroke Unit
Rhiannon Ward - elective surgical / orthopaedic ward with 3 bed High dependency area
Ceredig Ward - emergency surgical / orthopaedic ward
Y Banwy Ward / annex - respiratory ward / Infection prevention
Main duties of the job
We are looking for nurses that are passionate about delivering the best care possible, who have excellent communication skills and are willing to work as part of a committed and skilled multi-disciplinary team.

Bronglais General Hospital is an acute District General Hospital in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. It is managed by Hywel Dda University Health Board and is the only acute Hospital within Mid Wales serving not only the population of Ceredigion but also neighbouring counties of South Powys and Gwynedd.
We have an excellent reputation as a rural provider of acute and planned care, and we continue to provide a range of urgent and emergency care services.
Aberystwyth is a wonderful area with a beautiful promenade, harbour and marina. There are a range of primary schools and two secondary schools with more on offer in the surrounding area. There are a variety of amenities including shops, farmers markets, restaurants and nightlife.
Aberystwyth has a population of over 13,000 people as well as 8,500 students who attend the University. It is home to the National Library of Wales, the Welsh Books Council and the Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
