- Treats adults and children, within the Accident and Emergency area, Clinical Decisions Unit area for assessment of adult patients and Minors Injury Unit that treats both adults and children Dyfi Ward -
specialising in Respiratory patients with 2 HDU beds for non-invasive ventilation and general medical patients. Cardiac care - with 5 beds for Acute cardiac patients and further monitoring beds Ystwyth Ward
- Stroke and frailty ward with 4 bed Hyper Acute Stroke Unit Rhiannon Ward
- elective surgical / orthopaedic ward with 3 bed High dependency area Ceredig Ward
- emergency surgical / orthopaedic ward Y Banwy Ward

Bronglais General Hospital is an acute District General Hospital in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. It is managed by Hywel Dda University Health Board and is the only acute Hospital within Mid Wales serving not only the population of Ceredigion but also neighbouring counties of South Powys and Gwynedd.
