An exciting opportunity has arisen for the bronchiectasis service. We are currently seeking to appoint a Full Time (37.5 hours a week) band 6 nurse to support the lead band 7 nurse.

This is a Fixed Term Contract for 1 year to cover Maternity Leave.

This job would suit a candidate with Respiratory experience, looking to development their skills within an outpatient setting.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will provide support to patients and their families/carers attending the Trust as either inpatients or outpatients. You will assist the lead bronchiectasis nurse to care for caseload of patients requiring specialist bronchiectasis care.

The post holder will support with the development and progression of the Bronchiectasis Service.

About us

You will work with the Band 7 bronchiectasis nurse, within an expanding speciality. As well as the band 7 role, this successful candidate will work closely with consultants in bronchiectasis and be integrated within the Chronic Respiratory Infection Service at NUH to develop this role. The post holder will be based alongside the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Team with training provided by the CF nurse and physiotherapist specialist team.
