We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative podiatrist to work within our Integrated Specialist Podiatry Service in Bolton.
The successful candidate will be required to be flexible, working as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team - offering specialist podiatric assessment and treatment via a holistic approach, to a varied and complex caseload. You would be responsible for treatment planning for foot complications associated with e.g. diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and vascular / ischaemic long-term conditions and would be part of the foot protection team treating foot ulceration in the community. You will have the opportunity to take part in nail surgery management of MSK conditions and associated orthoses manufacture ulcer clinics and representation on Harm Free Care Panels.
Active involvement in training and development is a key requirement in both meeting personal continuing professional development objectives and providing expertise for delivery of staff training programmes within the Specialist Podiatry service
The post holder will work across both community settings and within a hospital based environment, and your clinical work would be across a variety of community clinic & domiciliary settings a car is therefore essential for this role.
You will be directly managed by, and report to, the Podiatry Team Lead.
