We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team working 3 days a week 9am-5pm in North Powys (Victoria Memorial, Montgomery County Infirmary and Llandrindod Wells Hospitals)
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and timely radiographic examinations.
Analyse and interpret radiographic images, providing comprehensive and detailed reports.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in radiographic techniques and technology.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
Serve as a mentor and resource for radiographers, offering guidance and support.
Develop and deliver educational sessions, workshops, and training programs for the radiographic and wider healthcare team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
MSc relevant to speciality (or working towards relevant MSc)
PGC in reporting
Registration with the appropriate professional body.
Extensive experience in reporting radiography.
Proficient in the use of radiographic imaging software and reporting systems.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills with a collaborative nature and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Passion for teaching and supporting others in their professional growth.
