An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse at Summers View, a dynamic Rehab unit specialising in complex mental health needs.
Summersview is a 10 bed mental health rehabilitation unit. The team specialises in supporting people with enduring psychosis through their recovery journey, helping them to reach their optimum & their goals.
The unit has a full MDT which strives to deliver high quality compassionate care that promotes independence and recovery for people with Mental Health needs.

Main duties of the job
You will be able to demonstrate excellent assessment and risk management plans, be able to demonstrate your ability to work as a team player, promote the rights of individuals to receive care that addresses their need in the community. Therefore, good communication skills are essential to the role, the role demands the ability to problem solve and find creative means of addressing individual's needs. An opportunity for a mental health nurse to work in a pragmatic way to maintain patient's safety in the community.

The unit will offer a full induction package with a supernumerary period. Training and competencies within the specialities and on-going support and professional development will be tailored to meet your individual needs individual CPD advice is available from our Practice Education Team. The CPD offer includes the option to rotate within the Trust to widen your breadth of experience, skills and knowledge.
On joining the Trust you will have access to our Preceptorship Programme to enable a smooth transition into your new role.
