Are you a registered dietitian looking for an exciting new post? We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated dietitian with an interest in pancreatology and gastroenterology to join our team. This post will be suitable for a band 5 or band 6 dietitian with wide ranging and varied experience, including experience in managing patients with gastroenterological conditions.
You will manage your own caseload of adult patients, supporting services to designated inpatient and outpatients areas, including support for the complex and regional services in Morriston Hospital.
The SBUHB pancreatic dietitians provide care for patients across South Wales who are having surgery within the Welsh Regional Pancreaticobiliary Surgery Centre. You will also provide support to the inpatient gastroenterology wards, and have a weekly outpatient gastroenterology clinic. You will be expected to supervise and mentor student dietitians, Dietetic Assistants and junior staff.
We offer both departmental and personal CPD time to support your development and share best practice. Our department is committed to the development of evidenced based practice, research and clinical audit and you will be supported in attending relevant professional networking meetings both locally and nationally, interest groups and CPD opportunities as well as having an annual appraisal.
We are approved for student placements (1, 2 and 3). The Health Board has University status with Colleges of Medicine on site.
