An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new People Partner within our People & Culture function for a 12 month fixed-term contract supporting our clinical services in Acute and Urgent Care and Secure and Offender Health.
The role will have lead responsibility for delivering key elements of the People Strategy and will proactively take forward the workforce agenda in partnership with senior operational managers ensuring operational and strategic approaches complement each other, whilst achieving the best outcomes for the Trust and staff.
You will also provide senior HR leadership and support to services and have demonstrable experience in working collaboratively with key stakeholders in enabling transformational change and creating a culture of continuous improvement, whilst ensuring our values are embedded in the way we operate as a function.

Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will have significant operational HR experience including experience of developing workforce plans at an operational level. You will also be required to demonstrate your ability to successfully lead key organisational change programmes advising managers on change processes including, restructuring, redundancy and TUPE transfers.
The applicant will need to have experience working in a senior HR role and have sound understanding of HR best practice and employment law together with the ability to support managers in complex HR issues whilst constructively challenging inappropriate practices and developing workable solutions.
