We are looking for dynamic, highly motivated applicants to work in Theatre on any of our four sites: Good Hope Hospital, Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Solihull Hospital covering many specialities. All we ask for is that you provide the very best care to our patients and work with our teams to ensure patient quality and safe care is delivered. You will be required to cover a range of shifts, which will include weekends, bank holidays, early/late/night duty, and the out of hours on call services.

Main duties of the job
Division 1 theatres are an exciting place to work full of challenges, development opportunities and delivers great job satisfaction within a supportive and enjoyable environment. We have full/part time jobs for Band 5 Registered Theatre practitioners (RN/ODP) with any amount of experience. All we ask for is that you provide the very best care to our patients and work with our teams to ensure patient quality and safe care is delivered.
With any role within UHB, each post comes with the support of our education team and managers. This is extended by support from our School of Nursing, AHPs and Midwifery. The School offers exciting opportunities for career growth and development, and our focus is on providing a supportive environment as part of your continuing professional development. - * Registered Adult Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner on the NMC/HCPC Register
- * Evidence and ability to revalidate as required by the NMC/HCPC
Experience

- * Previous/recent experience of working in an acute / NHS care setting (can include student/ trainee placements within the last 12 months)
- * Evidence of achievements and career development in current post of 0n-going professional development/competence.
- * Experience of working on own and in a team in a health care environment delegating others within a team/providing supervision to others
- * Can articulate willingness & demonstrate knowledge in relation to student supervision and assessment
- * (Can include experience as student Nurse registered nurse for newly qualified applicants)
