An opportunity has arisen for highly motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse within the Plastics trauma & Orthopaedic Unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

In order to continue providing care at this level, we are looking to recruit the right people, who are able to play their part in meeting these demanding targets.

Plastics Trauma and dressing clinic unit offers care to patients undergoing trauma follow up dressings care and this requires our staff to have excellent assessment skills, the ability to priorities a busy workload and to work alongside our multi-disciplinary staff. The unit offers a pro-active environment for staff to practice and develop their skills, in order to further benefit our patients.

Applicants should have, or be waiting to receive UK Nursing registration (NMC). Previous experience of surgical nursing is desirable but not essential as in house training will be given. Good time management, team work and the ability to work under pressure are essential. A structured preceptorship period of training and development will be provided with the support of the training department. Please see job descriptions and person specifications for further details.
