An exciting opportunity has opened up for a full time (37.5hpw) Recruitment Lead to join our Recruitment team. The successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of the recruitment cycle and processes involved. You will be enthusiastic, have excellent customer service skills and proven IT skills including experience using online systems and functions in Electronic Staff Records, Microsoft Office programmes, NHS Jobs and similar platforms.
You will lead the recruitment team in the development and delivery of a high quality and proactive recruitment that meets the needs of Livewell Services. You will be involved in developing, planning and scheduling ongoing the workload of the recruitment team and recruitment strategies to ensure that job applicants first experience of the organisation is positive.
This is an opportunity to work within the recruitment environment and lead the team with not only the daily standard work but also the strategic oversight within the recruitment environment. If successful you will be adaptable to change, expected to interact and to support the delivery of weekly and monthly recruitment data to LSW across its services. To maintain a high performing and efficient Recruitment Team and service to enhances the organisation's reputation whilst demonstrating Livewell's ethos and values to internal and external candidates, managers and external bodies or organisations.
Offer recruiting managers help and advice on the correct completion of the recruitment process in its entirety including shortlisting process e.g. provide advice on Livewell's responsibilities under the Disability Standard, and interviewing e.g. assessment and selection methods.
Keep up-to-date with organisational recruitment issues and provide specialist advice on hard to recruit posts and effective and innovative recruitment solutions, liaising with the Managers to obtain appropriate authorisation for external advertising.
In conjunction with the People Experience & Development Team & Resourcing and Retention Manager, lead the design and coordination of recruitment drives and events which may have to be held out of standard office hours ensuring the events are appropriately resourced, including working with local community partners, ex-forces, lone parents and underrepresented groups.
Other responsibilities

Participate in the design and delivery of a rolling programme of core and refresher Recruitment and Selection toolkit training and provide informal on-the-job training to recruitment managers on the recruitment process.
In conjunction with the People Experience & Development Team & Resourcing and Retention Manager, lead the design and coordination of recruitment drives and events which may have to be held out of standard office hours ensuring the events are appropriately resourced, including working with local community partners, ex-forces, lone parents and underrepresented groups.
Perform the role of subject matter expert in all matters relating to the NHS Jobs vacancy and applicant management, act in an advisory capacity for recruiting managers and team members in supporting the reduction of avoidable delays within NHS Jobs and timeliness of processing applicants through the NHS Jobs recruitment process.
Ensure the recruitment process is in accordance with the NHS Terms and Conditions of Employment and current Employment Law. Advise managers on required changes and amendments as appropriate.
Responsible for ensuring that the appropriate level of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is carried out for all applicants are completed in advance of start dates.
Processing certificate of sponsorship applications and assisting the recruitment team and recruiting managers with queries regarding sponsorship applications.
To escalate areas of peak workload within the team working with other Recruitment Co-ordinators in order for work to be reallocated as required. Capacity plan recruitment team resource across the team and provide an effective work allocation model to ensure an even and fair distribution of work.
Attend Modern Matrons, Departmental and other recruitment related meetings in order to obtain feedback on current staffing situation, seeking to resolve any issues that are raised for both substantive staffing and temporary resource.
To continually review and look to improve internal processes and procedures including any developments to update the recruitment process.
To utilise measurement and tracking tools on all recruitment activity reporting against timescales and quantity ensuring the analysis effectively directs future recruitment activities.
