Main duties of the job
The Project Manager will report to a Senior Project Manager working within the eCare programme, overseeing various workstreams supporting the operational teams.
Projects are undertaken in a structured manner in accordance with CITS Project Management procedures and PRINCE 2 and cover a wide range of disciplines
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for developing, delivering and leading a number of projects, within the programme, that enable the development and implementation of eCare.
You will be motivated, flexible and will enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment. It is essential that you are a team player and have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Job responsibilities
Initiate projects as directed by the Senior Project Manager, Senior Programme Manager.
Arrange, chair /participate in and document structured project meetings, and collective discussions with customers, patients, suppliers and system users.
Assess project priorities with the Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager, when conflict arises.
Responsible for the production of the specification and design/modification of information systems, including overseeing development work.
Undertake impact analyses to feed into service changes required after project delivery.
Responsible for regular creation, ownership and management of all core project documentation including project plans, risk, issue logs, meeting minutes, project budgets using Microsoft Office applications or other software tools.
Create, direct and motivate representative project teams. Allocate, schedule and monitor team members work, and the day-to-day coordination of their planned tasks to meet the project targets.
Co-ordinate and manage internal and external parties to ensure their effective involvement in change management, delivery and ongoing service, according to policy of the customer organisations.
Ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout, such that each project deliverable is fit for purpose and meets its documented requirement.
Defining and managing project risk parameters, instigating contingency plans and escalate as necessary to the Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager or Project Board.
