Specialising in patients with dementia, this state-of-the-art ward incorporates modern design and new technology, and we are looking for a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join us on this ground-breaking journey as we shape the future of elderly healthcare, support early effective discharge, where appropriate, and contribute to our elective recovery programme.
By joining us now, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of this new venture right from the start. This means you can contribute your ideas, expertise, and skills to help shape the new ward's culture, policies and procedures whilst experiencing new, and innovative ways of working.
Please note this opportunity is for an experienced Registered Junior Sister/Charge Nurse with current NMC registration.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to take a key role in the management and leadership of the ward/unit deputising for the Ward Leader in their absence.To be responsible for patient assessment, planning of care, giving and supervising safe and compassionate care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.

- The post holder will be a first level registered nurse with a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent level of knowledge
