We wish to recruit an exceptional band 6 Specialist nurse to work within the established Burns Trauma and Rehabilitation team, within the acute setting, based at Wythenshawe Hospital. This role will require flexibility and cross site working. It will require a team player able to work autonomously within the scope of practice. It is essential to be a car user and hold a full clean UK driving licence.

The role requires extensive wound care knowledge and experience within Burns or Plastic surgery.

Main duties of the job

The role also requires someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with a diverse multidisciplinary group of patients, team leaders, and be prepared to make clinical decisions effectively within your own professional scope of practice.

You will need a positive attitude, be a team player and have a clear focus on our patient's health and wellbeing throughout their journey, through the Burns Service
