This post offers an exciting opportunity to work with leaders in the world of facial pain and its management within the internationally renowned multidisciplinary Facial Pain Service within University College London NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an 8a clinical psychologist to join the multidisciplinary Facial Pain Team at The Eastman Dental Hospital, part of the University College London NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work alongside clinical psychology, physiotherapy and medical colleagues. The post involves some responsibility for overseeing and delivering cognitive behavioural persistent facial pain management programmes and psychological interventions for individuals with persistent facial pain (for example, temporomandibular disorder burning mouth syndrome trigeminal neuralgia). They will also work with people who have conditions of the oral muscosa (for example lichen planus). There will be opportunities to supervise clinical psychologists in training. The post holder will work with their line manager to monitor referrals, audit clinical outcomes and be involved in the development of the Facial Pain Psychology Service.

- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, or equivalent
- Current Health and Care Professions Council registration as Clinical Psychologist
