You will join a Band 5 rotational programme, providing the opportunity to support dietetic services in a wide range of clinical areas and gaining experience in working alongside Specialist and Advanced Dietitians and established multidisciplinary teams in areas including Respiratory, Stroke, Neurosciences, Oncology, Gastroenterology and more.
This position involves working in a variety of clinical settings including inpatients, outpatients and you will get the opportunity to contribute to patient education programmes, such as cardiac rehabilitation. We have an established student training programme supporting students from Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Chester and University of Central Lancashire.
You will gain experience and training in the support of Student Dietitians on their P2 and P3 placements with our team. You would join a team of nearly 40 experienced and forward-thinking Dietitians, Dietetic Support Workers and Administrative staff. We are committed to the continuing professional development of our team and will provide you with structured competency-based learning and development opportunities as part of your role, including opportunity for service development and clinical audit experience.
We also encourage peer-supervision with a graduate peer-support network and we are devoted to your wellbeing, with a number of Trust initiatives available to support staff.
