As a Registered Nurse you will be expected to care for patients with a variety of conditions, across the 24 hour period. Generally, you would be expected to lead in the planning, delivery and evaluation of care for patients whilst working alongside a Healthcare Assistant and with the support of the Senior Nurse.

Knowledge and experienceEssential
- Currently studying as a 3rd year student and working towards professional registration to be a Registered Nurse with Nursing & Midwifery Council
- Up to date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a newly qualified nurse
- Understanding of equality & diversity and how to apply it to self and others
- Understanding of NMC Code of Practice and requirements of it for own practice & behaviour
- Able to demonstrate effective consolidation of nursing knowledge & practice after qualification & preceptorship
